Australian Consumer Law
As a sole trader operating in Australia, we comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which provides guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered in the following situations:
- The project has not yet commenced and a refund is requested within 7 days of payment.
- We are unable to complete the agreed deliverables as outlined in your signed project scope or agreement.
- There is a major issue or failure with the service that cannot be resolved within a reasonable timeframe.
Non-Refundable Items
Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:
- Change of mind after project work has commenced.
- Delays caused by client-side issues, including failure to provide content, feedback, or approvals in a timely manner.
- Work that has been completed and approved, even if it has not yet been published or deployed.
Custom Work Disclaimer
Web development is a custom service tailored to each client's unique needs. As such, partial or full refunds may not be possible once work has started, unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact us in writing at develobittech@gmail.com with the following details:
- Your full name and contact information
- Invoice number and payment date
- A detailed explanation of the issue
We aim to assess all refund requests within 7 business days and respond with a resolution.
